- Where: He left Judea and went to Galilee, going through Samaria. Town called Sychar, near the property Jacob had given his son Joseph... at the well there
- A Galilean Welcome - John 4:43-45 -
- When: it says "after two days", this is the two days that the prior section said he stayed for 2 days in Samaria. So this is directly after leaving Samaria. In verse 45, It also says that they welcomed him because they saw everything He did in Jerusalem at the festival. So this attests to the fact that this is after the festival.
- Where: in Galilee
- The Second Sign: Healing an Official’s Son - John 4:46-54
- When: then.. sounds like right after being welcomed by his fellow Galileans when coming back from the passover festival, returning through Samaria .@ 7am.

- Where: Jesus had withdrawn to the mountain and the disciples went down to the boat and were crossing the Sea to Capernaum. - rowed 3 or 4 miles. It is conspicuous that the text says "Jesus had not yet come to them".
- The Bread of Life - John 6:22-70
- When: the next day, when they realized he was there and didn't get into the boat with the disciples.
- Where: in the synagogue in Capernaum.
- Note:they were looking for him because they ate the loaves and were filled. Jesus said not to work for the food that perishes but for the food that lasts for eternal life that the Son of Man gives. They asked, "What can we do to perform the Works of God" and he responded: "This is the work of God-that you believe in the One He has sent"
- Note:This is profound - vs 45: It is written in the Prophets: And they will all be taugth by God"

- The Light of the World - John 8:12-20
- When: seems to be in the same time and space as where he was teaching when they brought the adulteress woman to him
- Where: by the treasury in the temple complex
- Note: But no one seized Him, because His hour had not come
- Jesus Predicts His Departure - John 8:21-29
- When: seems to be in the same time and space as where he was teaching when they brought the adulteress woman to him, and where he spoke of being the Light of the World
- Where: apparently still in the temple complex
- Note: what i have heard from Him - these things I tell the world: and I do nothing on My own. But just as the Father taught Me, I say these things. The One who sent Me is with Me. He has not left Me alone, because I always do what pleases HIM -- While Jesus was walking this earth, God talked to Jesus all day, everyday.. at least from the time that the spirit descended upon HIM at HIS baptism if not sooner
- Truth and Freedom - John 8:30-59
- When: seems to be in the same time and space as where he was teaching when they brought the adulteress woman to him, and where he spoke of being the Light of the World
- Where: apparently still in the temple complex
- Note: i speak what i have seen in the presence of my father; you do what you have heard from your father... the one who is from God listens to God's words.
- Note2: When Jesus said "Before Abraham was, I am" they picked up stones to throw at Him. But he was HIDDEN and went out of the temple complex
- The Sixth Sign: Healing a Man Born Blind - John 9:1-10:21
- When:a Sabbath day, as he was passing by. He was leaving the temple complex right after His discussion about being the light of the world, and the Adulteress Woman was placed in his midst, which was the day after that last day of the feast of tabernacles. but was the day after the last day of the feast of tabernacles as Sabbath?
- Where: possibly still in the temple complex, his disciples were with him. He was told to wash in the Pool of Siloam after mud and spit were placed on his eyes, and that Pool is in Jerusalem. So i believe it was close by because he went out to wash and came back seeing.

- When:Festival of Dedication - winter, Hanukkah, Feast of Lights. - this commemmorated the redecication of the temple in 164 BC.
- Where: in Jerusalem, in temple complex in Solomon's Colonnade
- Note: they came to ask if he was the Messiah, and again he said he told them. He said he gives his sheep eternal life and no one can snatch them out of his hand. But he also says something very revealing, which apparently he has said many times in different ways: "the father and i are one" and they picked up rocks to stone him because he called himself God. "the father is in Me and I in the father". They tried to seize him again, but he eluded their grasp
- Many beyond the Jordan Believe in Jesus - John 9:40-42
- When:it said where John the Baptist had been baptizing EARLIER. It also said "John never did a sign, but evertyhthing John said about Jesus was true". This all makes it sound like John has already been imprisoned and beheaded.
- Where: across the Jordan to where John the Baptist had been baptizing
- The Seventh Sign: Raising Lazarus from the Dead - John 11:1-44
- When:
- After receiving the Message sent by Lazarus' sister that Lazarus was sick, Jesus stayed two more days where he was.
- Then he told his disciples they were going to Judea but they said "just now" the Jews tried to stone you. So this wasn't long after the Jews tried to stone him in the prior chapter.. or at least one of the times the Jews tried to stone him.
- then left for Judea with the disciples.
- Now in Bethany (near Jerusalem, about 2 miles away), Lazarus already IN THE TOMB 4 days, so it had to take him at least 2 days to get there. In addition, for him to be in the tomb for 4 days.. doesn't that mean that they prepared him for the tomb after he was dead and that took some time? how long did the preparation take? Did they still do a preparation? He waited two days after hearing he was SICK, not dead. But when he arrived he was already IN THE TOMB 4 days. So there is a gap in time.
- many Jews were there to help comfort them. they were still there because they saw Mary get up to meet Jesus and followed her.
- in verse 36, the Jews said "couldn't he who opened the blind man's eyes have kept this man from dying", so this is after the man blind from birth was healed, unless they were referring to another blind man receiving his sight.
- Where: not in Bethany yet since Lazarus was from there, and his sisters had to send him a message. Then later in Bethany, which was about 2 miles from Jerusalem.
- Note: When the disciples were worried about Jesus going to Judea, he said: Aren't there 12 hours in a day? If anyone walks during the day, he doesn't stumble, because he sees the light of this world. If anyone walks during the night, he does stumble, because the light is not in him"

The Jewish passover was near. many went to Jerusalem to purify themselves before the passover.
- Where: Jesus departed from there to the countryside near the wilderness, to a town called Ephraim. and he stayed there with his disciples.
- Jesus Anointed by a woman at Bethany - John 12:1-11
- When: six days before Passover, (the day before the triumphal entry) seems like the wording indicates this is after Lazarus was raised from the dead. People came to the dinner to see Lazarus because Jesus had raised him from the dead; many were deserting the Jews because they were believing in Jesus because of Lazarus being raised from the dead. Sequentially, it is listed after, but the wording also provides this was after

But this happened so that the statement written in their scripture might be fulfilled: They hated Me for no reason.
- The Role of The Holy Spirit - John 16:5-33
- When:
- Where:
- Note: vs 7 - It is for your benefit that i go away, because if i don't go away the Counselor will not come to you. If i go, i will send Him to you. About sin, because they do not believe in Me; about righteousness, because I am going to the Father and you will no longer see Me; and about judgement, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete. I have spoke then things to you in figures of speech. A time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figures, but I will tell you plainly about the Father. In that day you will ask in My name. - Where: in the wilderness
- Ministry in Galilee - Mark 1:14-15
- When: After John was arrested
- Where: Jesus went to Galilee
- The First Disciples - Mark 1:16-20
- When: assume this is during his ministry in Galilee shortly after he was baptized by John, was tempted in the wilderness, John was put in prison.. Then he left Judea and went to Galilee.
- Where: the Sea of Galilee - on the Shore.
- Driving Out an Unclean Spirit - Mark 1:21-28
- When: then... assumes this is after He called his disciples. on the Sabbath.
- Where: Capernaum, right away entered the Synagogue
- Healings at Capernaum - Mark 1:29-34
- When: as soon as they left the synagogue, this happened right after He drove out an unclean spirit at the synagogue in Capernaum. But the healings later were "When evening came, after the sun had set".
- Where: Peter's house. He lived in Capernaum. At the end of the day, the whole town assembled at the door and brought their sick and demon possessed.
- Preaching in Galilee - Mark 1:35-39
- When: very early in the morning. Sounds like the next morning after healing Peter's mother in law and the people in the town of Capernaum.
- Where: he went to a deserted place. it seems he was still in Capernaum. The disciples went looking for him, then they went to all the towns of Galilee
- A Man Cleansed - Mark 1:40-45 -
- When: then
- Where: there is no mention of where, but since the last section mentioned preaching in the towns of Galilee, i assume it is there.
- The Son of Man Forgives and Heals - Healing a Paralytic lying on a Mat - Mark 2:1-12
- When: He was gone through the towns of Galilee for some days.
- Where: Capernaum, in his home. vs 1 When He entered Capernaum again ... it was reported that He was at home. Many people gathered together.. no more room, not even in the door way.
- The Call of Matthew - Mark 2:13-17
- When: vs 13 then... and verse 14 then.. possibly after healing the paralytic and then teaching by the sea
- Where:beside the sea. Since he was in Galilee last, likely this is the Sea of Galilee. He taught there and then, moving on, saw Levi and called him. Then verse 15 said "While He was reclining at the table in Levi's house"
- A Question about Fasting - Mark 2:18-22
- When: Since John's disciples and the Pharisee's disciples were fasting, it was obviously a set time for fasting
- Where:there is no true indication here where this is. But it is assumed it is at Levi's dinner, but that is a complete assumption based on the fact that it is placed directly after that event in Mark's gospel.
- Lord of the Sabbath - Mark 2:23-28
- When: on the sabbath
- Where: in the grainfields
- The Man with the Paralyzed Hand - Mark 3:1-6
- When: on another sabbath
- Where: in the synagogue in Galilee, same synagogue as another because it says he entered the synagogue again
- Ministering to the Multitude - Mark 3:7-12
- When: the Sea of Galilee - he departed with his disciples to the sea, on a small boat so the crowds wouldn't crush him
- Where: in the synagogue in Galilee, same synagogue as another because it says he entered the synagogue again
- The 12 apostles - Mark 3:13-19
- When: placed after the multitudes were on the shore of the Sea of Galilee and crushing him so he had to get into a boat
- Where: mountain.. probably the mountain next to the Sea of Galilee. It has mentioned the mountain and the Sea in consecutive passages several times.
- A House Divided - Mark 3:20-30
- When: verse 20 says THEN he went home. This sounds like after he was teaching in a boat and went up on the mountain to be alone with his disciples and called the 12 apostles and send them out.
- Where: His home. It said in vs 20 then he went home. He summed the scribes who came down from Jerusalem who said he has a demon spirit.
- True Relationships - Mark 3:31-35
- When: verse 31 says then.. seems he finished talking about a house being divided and binding the strong man because it also says that his family heard that his house was so crowded that thee couldn't even eat. so they set out to restrain him and said he was out of his mind.
- Where: His home. this appears to be a continuation of the prior section where he was at his home and spoke of a house being divided and binding the strong man
- The Parable of the Sower - Mark 4:1-9, 13-20 Why Jesus Used Parables Mark 4:10-12 and Using your light - Mark 4:21-25

- When: on that day, when evening had come. It says they left the crowd. he was already in the boat, other boats were with him..
- Where: “Let’s cross over to the other side of the sea.”
- Demons Driven Out by the Master - Mark 5:1-20
- When: directly after calming the storm, but the storm happened at night. so this either happened the same night or the next morning. the sea is only 7 miles wide. I don't think that it would have taken all night to cross. Jesus was obviously here quite some time because he talked to the man, sent out the demons, they ran into the sea, the men tending the pigs ran into the town and the country-side and told people. And the people had time to come back and ask Jesus to leave. The man was dressed an in his right mind. All this happened during this time on the bank. So it was no small amount of time. It might not have been more than a day, but it was probably certainly several hours of time.
- Where: the other side of the sea, to the region of the Gerasenes.” there must be tombs right there because they man came right to him when he got out of the boat. When he was healed, Jesus told him to go back home to his people and proclaim how the Lord had mercy on him. His home was in the decapolis because that is where it said he proclaimed how much Jesus had done for him. Also, there was enough room for a herd of 2000 pigs, there was a steep bank which is what the pigs rushed down and drowned into the sea. there were men who tended the pigs, who ran off.
- A Girl Restored and a Woman Healed - Mark 5:20-43
- When: after casting the demons into the pigs on the other side of the Sea of Galilee, they traved back to the Galilee area. a large crowed gathered around him while he was by the sea

- Rejection at Nazareth - Mark 6:1-6

- When: Now
- Where: He was going around villages in a circuit, teaching
- King Herod thought Jesus was John the Baptist raised from the dead - Mark 6:14-29
- When: King Herod heard of this... this must be speaking of him hearing that Jesus was teaching in a circuit and commissioned his disciples to go out healing and casting out demons. This was after John the Baptist was killed, because he said "John the Baptist has been raised from the dead and that is why supernatural powers are at work in him". But John the Baptist didn't seem to have supernatural powers. King Herod was in awe of John?
- Where: unstated
- Feeding 5,000 - Mark 6:30-44
- When: after disciples were sent out, they came back and reported to Him all that happened. Jesus wanted to go to a remote place for rest. The crowds kept them from eating.
- Where: they went to a remote place by boat. Many saw them and ran to get there ahead of them and beat them to the place. wilderness. villages are in the countryside. there was green grass and room for all of them. 5000 men plus women and children.
- Walking on the Water - Mark 6:45-52
- When: immediately. they got into the boat and left ahead of him while he dismissed the crowd. when evening came, the boat was in the middle fo the sea and he was alone on land.
- Where: the disciples went on to behsaida whhile he want to the mountain to pray.
- Note:: it says while he was on the mountain, He saw them being battered as they rowed. They were a few miles out. around 3 am, he approached them, walking on the water, he was going to pass them. they freaked out, and he told them to have courage and not be afraid. He got into the boat, and the wind stopped. .. So.. he is on the mountain, sees them a few miles away being battered by the wind. Since it is 3am, and it was evening before they left. It was already late when they sat the 5000 down to eat. So they have rowing a few hours now, and he walks to them in just a few minutes and was going to pass them? Another passage in John that talks about the same thing says that after he got into the boat, they were at the other side immediately. So in this entire passage, he defies time, gravity, and space.
